If you are ever in Pensacola, FL, do yourself a favor and find time to eat at Jackson's Steakhouse.  Last week after visiting our herds on the coast of Alabama, we stopped at Jackson's and enjoyed one of the best meals of the year.  Over drinks and this delicious Red Snapper we learned about Chef Irv Miller's passion for good food and cooking with the flavors and styles of traditional Florida Panhandle fare.  Intrigued to learn more?  Chef Miller recently released a new book of recipes, Panhandle to Pan: Recipes and Stories from Florida's New Redneck Riviera.

Another delicious recipe for skirt steak, this week from Jessi's Kitchen.  Skirt steak is an affordable way to enjoy grass fed beef, and this recipe calls for the grill which is always a treat as summer winds down. The flavors of the marinated meat go perfectly with the cilantro pesto, so make sure to give this recipe a try while skirt steak is still on sale!

One single strand of polywire contains the cattle in their daily paddocks.  Paddock moves are determined by the number of cattle to the correct amount of grazing area. This method is wonderful for soil carbon sequestration, soil microbes, healthy animals, health of the ecosystem, and ultimately the rural community.

  • $75 minimum purchase requirement, since we have built the cost of shipping into the price of each product.
  • You will never be charged extra for shipping.
  • There is a $7.50 handling fee upon checkout.
  • The South Carolina Chicken Bundles, BBQ Sauce, produce and cookbooks ship from separate locations, so they are not included in the 7 lb weight minimum.  The shopping cart will keep track and remind you if your order is under the 7 lb limit.

  • Receive a $25 discount for every 40 pounds you order. This offer excludes items that ship separate such as the South Carolina Chicken, produce and fresh bundles.
