New Year, New Goals
Start the new year off on the right foot. Choose healthy diet choices and lifestyle changes that will help you thrive this year. Try cutting down on sugar, as it can cause all sorts of problems that may hold you back from achieving your goals. Think about the carbs you consume. Are they fueling you the best they can? A few non-food related switches that will change your life include making sure you are getting enough rest and sunshine. Sleep sets the tone for our whole day. Be sure to prioritize a good night's rest. During the day, go outside and get some sun. Getting enough sunshine is more important than ever with so many of us working and spending more time all together at home. Why not kick off your shoes and wiggle your feet around in the grass. You may find direct contact with the earth will boost your serotonin levels.
