ABC Nightline Report, Wise Traditions 2006 Re-cap & Smart Fat Sale

U.S. Wellness Meats was honored to have Heritage Acres Pork president Mr. Russ Kremer featured on ABC's Nightline on November 14th. Certified Humane antibiotic free from birth pork was the center piece of the Nightline segment. Mr. Kremer's brush with death 15 years ago from a resistant bacteria delivered by a tusk slashing boar was the epiphany that resulted in the birth of Heritage Acres and the principle reason U.S. Wellness Meats has carried the product since August 2004.

Weston A. Price Wise Traditions 2006 Conference

The 7th annual Wise Traditions 3 day gathering hosted by Sally Fallon was a stunning success on November 10 through 12th. A record attendance from around the world listened to 32 speakers discussing smart nutrition from soil chemistry to the everyday foods we consume to maintain healthy minds and bodies.

In honor of the astute audience U.S. Wellness Meats entertained as a sponsoring exhibitor, we are offering a 15% sale on the 6 hottest selling smart fat items at the gathering.

2.5 pound Pemmican pails both with and without honey and dried cherries were the first to sell out. This product was the protein and calorie storage mechanism for the American Indians.

The second best seller was pure grass-fed beef tallow in 2.5 pound pails that can replace traditional shortening and can be added to recipes to increase the smart beneficial fats on board for meat loaf recipes and etc. Purchase in 5 gallon tallow pails and save even more! Pails can be thawed and transferred into smaller storage containers.

A feeding frenzy developed late Saturday when the U.S. Wellness meat booth was fully discovered by attendees hunting the source of cooking ribeye odor that was meandering through the exhibit area.

U.S. Wellness suggests you keep Wise Traditions 2007 on your radar screens as it was one of the most professional conferences I have ever attended. The planners and facilitators went over the top in all levels of organization. Also, kudos for the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia for true fox hunt country hospitality.

With the last colors of Fall disappearing into chilly nights of late Autumn we are reminded of our fore fathers gathering in a foreign land many centuries ago giving Thanksgiving for their many blessings. In today's world, we would be stunned at what they gave thanks for in a much simpler and harsh climate when true values were measured in the basic essentials of life.

As families gather later this week for Thanksgiving, let's all give thanks for the core values we hold dear and to those brave pioneers that created this great country we share today.
