2016
Dear John,
Getting healthier tops the list of New Year's resolutions for most of us.  Our sale items this week can give you a great head start.  Lamb tallow can be added to meat and vegetable dishes to enhance flavor and provide all the health benefits grass-fed fat offers.  Containing more marrow, chicken gelatin is the thicker cousin of our chicken stock and is a nutrient dense option for soups, stews, or broths.  Beef Snack Sticks, Coulotte Steaks, and Butt Steaks are fantastic sources of healthy fat and protein.

Snacking is one of the biggest hurdles to a healthier weight and a slimmer waistline.  We want to help so this week's featured category is one of our most popular.  Enter discount code "SNACK" with your order to receive a 15% discount on all our Healthy Snack category items.  Discount good thru January 12th at 12:00 Midnight CST.  Applies to any order under 40 lbs, excludes sale items, volume discounts, and gift certificates

We all want to live healthier and longer lives.  This week Dr. Mercola writes about 18 foods we can eat to help us do both.  You may be pleasantly surprised at what you already have in your kitchen!

18 Foods to Reduce Chronic Inflammation and Increase Longevity
One of your most basic health principles is to eat real food. This will radically reduce your exposure to the tens of thousands of chemicals added to processed foods, most of which are not even on the label.

Health.com (2) recently published a list of 18 foods packed with health-promoting compounds like antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals known to play a role in longevity. The running thread linking a wide variety of common health problems - from obesity and diabetes to heart disease and cancer - is chronic inflammation. The key to reducing chronic inflammation in your body starts with your diet, and as you can see, the vast majority of the foods listed tend to have anti-inflammatory activity. Replacing processed foods with real foods can make a significant difference in your overall health and weight, and ultimately determine how long you'll live.

Beef Loin Roast

"My favorite"

This is one of my favorites from US Wellness, it's always in my shopping cart. I usually roast it with salt and herbs, at 350 for 35-40 min. It is very tender and delicious. My family loves it.
