Have you ever made breakfast for lunch or dinner? How about a salad for breakfast? For some that may sound crazy, but let's explore this a bit. Everyone who prepares meals for a family will at times struggle with ideas. It's so easy to get into a routine with meal prep that slowly becomes a rut. That's not fun for anybody, so why not change it up some? By the way, kids love this. Ask them sometime if they'd like to have breakfast for dinner and they'll hoot and hollar like you just discovered a Skittles fountain in the back yard.
When you change up the routine, it breathes new life into meals. There's no rule outlawing farm fresh eggs and bacon for dinner. If you really want to get wild, add a 1/2 lb of organ meat sausage (like Braunschweiger or Liverwurst) to a breakfast hash with ground beef, potatoes, green peppers, scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon and make it a nutrition packed super breakfast for dinner. Now your talkin'. Keep your taste buds flexible and you'll love how much fun you can have in the kitchen.
