Many of us have our favorite cookbooks. We're fortunate here to have so many amazing chefs, nutritionists, health and wellness experts, and foodies who have shared their cookbooks with us over the years. We especially appreciate those who take the added care in developing recipes that consider nutritional value. A good cookbook can become someone's favorite for a variety of reasons. A favorite will be used so much it can become worn and "well-loved". When you see one of these kitchen companions in a friend or loved one's kitchen, ask if you can thumb through the pages. You might find notes in the margins, extra recipes on cards or notebook paper, or even stains and remains from past cooking endeavors.
