Never Too Late
When we're young our bodies seem to be better equipped to handle the rigors of life. When a child falls down, it's easier for them to get up and keep playing. Energy levels tend to be at a constant high. Children can play hard and sleep hard. As an adult, it's not always that easy. Also, watch a 5 year old closely for a few minutes to see how effective a young immune system can be.
Over time, the poor nutrition and lifestyle choices we've made, along with environmental factors and age begin to take a toll. Our immune systems can get tired. The body has an amazing ability to heal though. Just like a machine, our bodies need proper maintenance. With better choices and nutrition, we can put aging on hold and it's never too late to make better choices. Start by identifying some areas where improvements can be made. Are you getting enough exercise, sunshine and sleep? Are you eating whole, healthy foods? Enjoying a bit too much sugary sweet stuff?
