Romantic Dinner for Two

Have you considered what you'll do for Valentine's Day this year? It's coming up fast! A few quick ideas to help turn a regular weekday evening into a memorable dining experience. Valentine's Day is the perfect occasion to whip up a cozy, romantic dinner for two at home. Visit our Discover Wellness Blog for numerous recipe ideas or try one of the following.

Idea #1: Start with a succulent grass-fed beef tenderloin, seasoned simply with salt, pepper, and a hint of garlic. Sear it to perfection in a hot cast-iron skillet, then finish it off in the oven to your desired doneness. Pair it with a side of roasted root vegetables, like carrots, parsnips, and sweet potatoes, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with fresh thyme. The natural sweetness of the vegetables will complement the rich, savory flavors of the beef beautifully.

If you can't visit the Mediterranean in person for Valentine's Day, why not bring the Mediterranean home.

Serve it alongside a fresh, vibrant salad made with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and a tangy vinaigrette. The crisp, refreshing salad will balance the hearty, comforting flavors of the roast chicken, creating a well-rounded meal that's both satisfying and nourishing.

Idea #4: If seafood is more your style, wild-caught salmon is an excellent choice. An amazing blend of flavors awaits your palate. Start with your filet, add some simple seasonings, then grill or bake it until it's tender and flaky. Serve it with a side of quinoa or wild rice, and a medley of sautéed greens like spinach, kale, and Swiss chard. The combination of the sweet, savory salmon and the earthy, nutrient-rich greens will make for a delicious and healthful Valentine's Day dinner that you and your loved one will remember for years to come.
