What Does "Real" Really Mean?
In today’s world, navigating what’s truly natural can feel overwhelming. From the food on our plates to the products in our homes, synthetic chemicals and fake foods have quietly woven themselves into our daily lives. Plastics, petrochemicals, artificial additives, and residues from pesticides and herbicides — like glyphosate — are alarmingly common. With over 84,000 chemicals in circulation and only a fraction thoroughly tested for safety, it’s no wonder many Americans show signs of exposure to multiple toxins. The question isn’t just “how much?” — it’s “how do we reclaim what’s real?”
The answer begins with awareness. Many so-called “green” products are little more than clever marketing. That’s why we believe in transparency and education. “Knowing your farmer” isn’t just a quaint idea — it’s a powerful tool for protecting your health and supporting ethical practices. The same goes for the brands you trust. Ask questions. Read labels. Dig into how things are made. When you understand the story behind your food and products, you’re empowered to make choices that align with your values.
At US Wellness Meats, we take pride in offering clean, nutrient-dense foods raised with integrity. Our regenerative farming practices work in harmony with nature to restore soil health, reduce chemical exposure, and nourish future generations. We believe that real food should be free of shortcuts — no antibiotics, no added hormones, no GMOs. Just honest, wholesome nutrition from farms that care. There aren't many food companies you'll find where the owners are the same people raising the food. At US Wellness Meats, our owners aren't corporate suits, they are the actual factual farmers who raise the meat we sell in our online store.
The good news? There are more and more businesses out there trying to do it right. Seek them out. Support them. Share what you learn with others who care about wellness, sustainability, and truth in labeling. Together, we can build a cleaner, healthier future — one informed choice at a time.
All the Best, Team USWM

Shout Out
GiGi is spot on here. Grass-fed doesn't always mean what it implies. Nearly all cattle start on grass after weaning. Only 100% grass-fed (aka grass-fed and grass-finished) beef has all the benefits and nutrition that most are looking for when they shop for "grass-fed". Our patrons will be happy to know ALL of our beef, lamb, bison, and elk are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished on regenerative farms.

During my first trip to Rome, Italy for my 20 year anniversary I was inspired to take it to the next level.” — Chris Sturr
